Our program is 5 semesters long and leads to a bachelor of science or a bachelor of professional studies degree. The program can only be taken on a full- time basis. We admit a limited number of students each year so that all of our students receive close, 个人关注. Beginning in the fall only, the program includes five consecutive semesters of classroom and clinical courses.
Starting the Summer rotation, students complete 41 weeks of clinical in clinical oncology centers located in Central New York, 水牛, 资本/哈德逊河谷, 罗彻斯特, the North Country and the Southern Tier. Students request these regions at the time of interview and a decision about region assignments are made by the 招生 Committee at the time of acceptance.
A student will be in their assigned region for nearly all of the 41 weeks, 然而, they can request individual rotations outside of their region to work with different equipment, 然而 placement will depend on availability. Students who are in the Central NY region will always be out of the greater Syracuse area during their last six weeks of clinical.

临床区域 are assigned at the time of admission. All clinical rotations take place as described below:
三年级秋季
雪城15周: Students spend the semester in Syracuse, usually four days a week in classes. *
三年级春季
雪城15周: Students spend the semester in Syracuse, usually four days in class with one evening lab.*
三年级暑期
Clinical Region 12 weeks: Students spend their entire summer semester in full-time clinical within the region assigned.
高三秋季
Clinical Region for 15 weeks: Students are in clinical 4 days a week for 8-hour days. (每周32小时). One full day per week is dedicated to interactive videoconferencing classes.
Senior Spring Semester
Clinical Region for 14 weeks: Students are in clinical 4 days a week for 8-hour days. (每周32小时). One full day per week is dedicated to interactive videoconferencing classes.
*During the Fall and Spring semester, one day is spent 观察 在临床环境中. If a student is commuting from 罗彻斯特, 宾厄姆顿, 沃特敦, 或尤蒂卡, he or she may request to perform the one-day of clinical observation in their home community.
