Neuroradiology Fellowship Program

Welcome from the Program Director:

Thank you for your interest in the Neuroradiology Fellowship training program at 推荐最近最火的赌博软件 Medical University, a Level 1 Trauma Center and a comprehensive stroke center in Syracuse, 纽约.

This fellowship is a one year ACGME-accredited program and prerequisites for the training program include completion of an approved residency program in radiology. This program encompasses all aspects of clinical neuroradiology and provides excellent opportunities for research and education. It focuses on adult and pediatric brain, spine, head and neck imaging. Also the fellow will be involved in multiple image guided procedures/interventions, cerebral angiography and cerebral vascular intervention procedures such as thrombectomy, stenting and coiling. The radiology department has state of the art equipment including multiple 3T MR scanners, CT扫描仪, PET Scanner and bi-plane angio-suites. The fellow will also participate in formal didactics, multidisciplinary and national conferences, hands on teaching and case by case learning. Participation is expected and time is allowed for participation in research projects. Currently the Neuroradiology Department is comprised of seven radiologists, each having subspecialty areas of interest. This assures a teaching faculty with a broad array of experience and expertise that serves to support a well-balanced educational program for the fellow in training.

One position is available per year. The salary for the fellow (R6) is currently $63,838.00. The fellow is covered by medical and dental insurance programs which is available beginning the 43rd 入职日. There are three weeks of paid vacation. Also conference time and funds for travel expenses may be provided for first author of a research paper at a major medical meeting. The fellow is also given an additional $1,000.00 for computers, meetings, travel, etc.
