Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Definition

Causes

Risk Factors

Symptoms

Symptoms include:

• Persistent fatigue
• Night sweating
• Coughing
• Unexplained fever
• Weight loss
• Itching
• Decreased appetite

Diagnosis

Your bodily fluids and tissues may be tested. This can be done with:

• Blood tests
• Lymph node biopsy

• CT scan
• FDG PET/CT scan

Abdominal surgery may be needed to remove the spleen and to biopsy the liver . 由于非侵入性扫描的准确性，这种情况并不常见.

Treatment

Chemotherapy and External Radiation Therapy

Chemotherapy is the use of drugs to kill cancer cells. 化疗有多种形式，包括药片、注射和导管. 这些药物进入血液并在体内传播，主要杀死癌细胞, but also some healthy cells.

In radiation therapy, 辐射是从体外照射肿瘤的，目的是杀死癌细胞.

• Extent of the disease
• Location of the affected lymph node(s)
